Half-way seminar: Co-evolutionary dynamics for two adaptively coupled Theta neurons
Half-way seminar of Felix Augustsson.
In this seminar, I will present my research on co-evolutionary oscillator networks. The talk is geared towards a general mathematics audience, and will focus on my preprint on pairs of Theta neurons.1
We will cover the dynamics of statically coupled Theta neurons, and then look at the phenomena caused by adding a simple adaptive coupling rule. The main effect of this adaptivity is a widening of resonant "mode-locking" regions, which results in the system being multi-stable in these modes.
