In this holiday inspired event, join us in Hörmandersalen for a screening of "Let Us Teach Guessing," a classic film about problem solving featuring George Pólya.

Filmed at Stanford in the early 1960s, "Let Us Teach Guessing" showcases Pólya's approach to teaching mathematical problem-solving. He explores the question: "If we cut space with five random planes, how many regions are formed?" The film illustrates the importance of guessing, induction, and fostering intellectual curiosity in mathematics.
