In the tradition of mathematical carpentry, Måns Williamson will attach his PhD thesis to one of the wooden boards in the foyer by utilising a hammer and a nail.

There will be light snacks and something to drink.

The title of the thesis is "Convergence and Stability Analysis of Stochastic Optimization Algorithms", and will be defended on January 31 at 13:00 in MH:Hörmander.
